Settings tour
One map of Settings: profile, workspaces, billing, connectors, developer tokens, messaging numbers, and data. Plus what lives elsewhere, like activation.
Settings (the gear in the account chip) is organized by tab. Everything here is workspace-level except the first tab: switch workspaces from the account chip and the other tabs switch with you. The map, with links into the full pages:
- profile: your full name and timezone, both editable. Email and role/title are shown but locked. The Delete account control sits at the bottom.
- workspaces: members, roles, and invites. At the top, the current workspace's name, icon (upload, then crop) and default timezone, plus its plan. Below, Your workspaces to switch between the ones you belong to, the member list with leave and remove controls, the invite form (email + role) and Pending invites with their expiry. Owners of a team workspace also get the Danger zone at the bottom: delete the workspace by typing its name. The invite form rides a feature flag that isn't enabled today.
- billing: Plan (Upgrade to Pro, or manage subscription through the billing portal once subscribed), Credits with the balance and top-up buttons (top-ups work on any plan), and Purchase history. Billing is owner-only: the upgrade and portal controls only render for the workspace owner.
- connectors: connecting your accounts and managing them: the provider gallery, visibility, reconnects. Connections here are shared by every workflow in the workspace.
- developer: REST API and MCP
tokens. Mint a token with a name, a workspace, an expiry
(30 days, 90 days, 1 year, or never) and scopes:
read(list and inspect over REST, read tools over MCP) andbuild(writes over REST and the build tools). Your tokens lists each one with created, last used, expires and a revoke action, plus a count of MCP requests in the last 24 hours. Connect a client has ready-made config for MCP clients. One token system for both doors; the tab itself rides a feature flag, and MCP additionally needs Pro, while REST works on the free plan. - messaging: verified phone numbers for the text trigger and send-text step. Add a number with a label, MadMax texts a code, enter it to verify; remove numbers from the same list.
- data: stores, AI memory, and knowledge bases, each with its own sub-list. Stores: create (name, slug, description, schema), import and export, edit the schema, browse rows and look one up by key, delete the store by typing its slug. Memory: create one, set its window in turns, open a session's transcript, clear one session or all of them. Knowledge: create a base, upload documents and watch them chunk, run a test search, open a chunk.
What isn't in Settings
Two things deliberately aren't here: activation (each workflow's live switch is in its own topbar) and step configuration (always the Inspector). Workflow-level things live with the workflow: notes and folders on the Workflows index, snapshot history and run history behind the canvas topbar.
AI model choices for the in-canvas chat are not a user setting either; the platform picks the model and the chat always uses the platform key, never a key from your connectors. See AI settings.
