Privacy Policy

MadMax ("we", "us") is a workflow-automation platform at madmax.build, operated by Outta Time Ventures LLC (doing business as MadMax). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what's needed to run your workflows, we don't sell your data, and everything sensitive is encrypted.

What we collect

• Account information — your email address and name, used to sign you in (we email one-time codes; there are no passwords) and to contact you about your account.
• Workflow content — the workflows you build: their steps, configuration, run history, and outputs. This is your data; we process it only to run the automations you created.
• Connected credentials — API keys and OAuth tokens you connect so your workflows can act on your behalf. They are encrypted at rest and used only to execute the steps you configured.
• Files — documents you upload or that arrive as email attachments to your workflow addresses, stored so your workflows can process them.
• Inbound email — messages sent to a workflow's trigger address (wf-…@in.madmax.build) are received and processed to run that workflow. Mail from senders you haven't allowed is dropped.
• Phone numbers — collected only when you voluntarily provide them, by adding your number in account settings and confirming it with a one-time code. You opt in to SMS by providing and verifying your number.

How we use your information

To operate MadMax: authenticating you, executing the workflows you built, delivering the notifications you configured, and keeping the service reliable and secure. Workflow content may be processed by our AI providers solely to power the features you invoke (building, running, and repairing workflows) — never for advertising.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing.

SMS messaging

• You receive SMS from us only after opting in by providing and verifying your phone number. Messages are limited to one-time verification codes and notifications from workflows you built.
• SMS messaging charges may be applied by your carrier.
• We will only share your phone number with our SMS provider, subject to their privacy policy. Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.
• You can opt out at any time by texting STOP. Once you have opted out, we will not send you any more SMS messages, nor will we sell or transfer your phone number to another party.

Service providers

We rely on a small set of processors to run the service — cloud hosting and storage, email delivery, SMS delivery, and AI model providers. Each receives only what's necessary to provide its function and is bound by its own privacy obligations.

Retention and deletion

Your data stays while your account is active. Delete a workflow and its content is removed; delete your account (or ask us to) and your personal information is deleted, except where the law requires otherwise.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you about significant changes by placing a prominent notice on our site.
